d4 Sadistic Demons Plague the Doomed World

Concept: “A broken clay tablet disclosing d4 haunting encounters with mischievious evil.”
Content: Four demons and their bargains for this miserable little game.
Writing: Monstrous encounters to ensnare or entrap as well as confront, complete with adventure hooks to bait.
Art/design: Color and background art distinguish the influence of each demon across eclectic layouts.
Usability: Usable as single encounters or long-term story elements of their own.

d4 Twisted Wyrms for the Doomed World

Concept: “Wielding eldritch powers beyond your players' reckoning, each of these violent menaces will leave a serious impact on your players' tortured psyches.”
Content: d4 boss encounters in Wyrm shaped packages.
Writing: Engaging mechanics provide unique and thematic challenges to overcome—with your second group of Scvm.
Art/design: Appropriately dramatic public domain art. Playful interactivity in art, writing, and design.
Usability: Thematic centerpiece encounters stand out on their own, but align thematically with many existing Mörk Borg adventures.

From Beyond the Endless Sea

Concept: “Cultists, Bloodhawks, secret island temples, wands channeling the Black Wind, loopy hippies, gnarly artifacts, zombified townsfolk, and the ability to loot your bosses' house - and much more - await you.”
Content: A frenzied mob is overtaking Grift, do something about it.
Writing: Deified mob violence unifies multiple sessions in Grift and provides a potential antagonist for long-term play.
Art/design: Design elements convey the compulsions of a waking god. Consistent use of public domain image backdrops.
Usability: Thoughtful design elements on a large-scale aid in utility and navigation.

Nasty, Brutish, & Short

Concept: “ripping open the guts of combat & letting the wet slop pour out. Most attacks miss. But every action should feel thrilling.”
Content: Optional combat systems for Mörk Borg.
Writing: Tables to complicate misses, quantify trauma, and modify monsters. Mechanics expand crit/fumble ranges by sharing blood between storyteller and scvm.
Art/design: Surrealist AI art supplements public domain icons and illustrations in an eclectic style.
Usability: Three d66 tables span multiple pages. Can be distinguished from one another by changes in the background illustration.

Tales from the Gutter - MÖRK BORG

Concept: “Inherit a vicious baby wyrm. Die during character creation. Become a contortionist. Get mocked by your fellow players. Get an objective and hidden motivations. Wield strange new powers. Beg, cheat, and steal.”
Content: A life path character generator for scvm like us.
Writing: Dramatic (and strange) scenarios provide texture for player improvisation at the table.
Art/design: Colored lithographic print backgrounds provide a consistent visual style across the life path. Text boxes, visual guides, and color coded text allow for creative elements of the layout to remain easily navigable.
Usability: Clear visual indications for instructive text establish clear session 0 expectations. Requires the group to be present and engaged to be utilized fully.
