Concept: “I was planning on doing a small MÖRK BORG item a day as an exercise to improve my writing; one every day in October.”
Content: A collection of Mörktober artifacts.
Writing: Narrative descriptions for each thematic artifact.
Art/design: Consistent design template: yellow headers, white body text, black text boxes. With black and white illustrations with various levels of grit.   
Usability: Still in progress.

A Discarded and Damned Shield

Concept: “A discarded shield lays before you... there should be a corpse attached.”
Content: A shield/portal, or portal/shield?
Writing: Strong use of sensory elements make the shields discovery a minor encounter.
Art/design: Focal central shield illustration in neon pink with yellow sigils 
Usability: Use as a plot point or unpleasant surprise. 

A Feast Among Friends

Concept: “Please, won’t you join the party?”
Content: Dining at your own funeral.
Writing: A sensuous depiction of camaraderie and cannibalism.
Art/design: A well-dressed skeleton, haloed by the dead, encircled by intense pink text.
Usability: Background illustration and opening text overlay may hinder a swift reading. 

Accursed Guardian

Concept: “Rumours in Anthelia’s court tell of a curse making the Shield immortal as long as the Countess remains unharmed...”
Content: Anthelia’s personal bodyguard.
Writing: An example of the cunning brutality one should expect in Anthelia’s court.
Art/design: An accursed guardian at the ready. Behind textual battlements of white and black.
Usability: Violence isn’t always the answer. 

Anecdotes

Concept: “Some wizard, who couldn’t be bothered to light up a fire, decided to summon a fire demon and trap it in a lantern.”
Content: A very bored lantern.
Writing: Mischievous and open-ended. A spark to be ignited at your table. 
Art/design: A scvm reading a story to their demon lantern. Framed by boxed text 
Usability: Keep it occupied, or it will keep you occupied. 

Baited Blood

Concept: “A disease of the blood...”
Content: A cannibal disease of a different kind.
Writing: A wonderfully inversion of a common trope.
Art/design: Black and white blocked plaintext.
Usability: Surprise your favorite scvm. 

Blood Feast

Concept: “There exists a theater in the city of Galgenbeck, that is home to three sisters... turned into Nechrubel’s first children.”
Content: A trio of musical vampires.
Writing: History and heavy characterization personalize the daughters of Nechrubel.
Art/design: AI-generated vampire triplets standing before the blood moon.
Usability: A Babymetal tribute. 

Blood to the Flames

Concept: “Some blood themed content”
Content: Tithe for the blood countess.
Writing: Bloody simple, sensuous, and effective.
Art/design: A spacious and symbolic design.
Usability: Uses 5e style advantage mechanics.  

Bonefire

Concept: “A bone taken from the body of a dead witch... it will burn until it is no longer needed.”
Content: A reliable firestarter and effective witch attractant.
Writing: Bare bones, practical, with just a spark of magic.
Art/design: Menacing witches overlook a clean engaging design.
Usability: Please burn responsibly. 

Brain Pest

Concept: “After eating some mushrooms from the depths of Sarkash, a tribe of goblins seems to have grown intelligent.
Content: Mushroom powered hyper intelligent goblins.
Writing: Mechanics provide an interesting abstraction of tactical superiority.
Art/design: Tiny goblins plague a victim behind the prominent text bars.
Usability: Bounty not included. 

Censer of Plagues

Concept: “Flecks of ill moisture squirt from the surface of this flail.”
Content: An infectious flail accident waiting to happen.
Writing: A sickly humorous take on a recent plague.
Art/design: A decidedly familiar (and filthy) flail head.
Usability: “‘Wearing a mask prevents the damage and Infection.’” 

Colossus Arise

Concept: “7:1 Colossus shall rise from beyond Bergen Chrypt... SHE is no more.”
Content: Additional scriptures for the 7th misery.
Writing: A regional focus on the end that awaits us all.
Art/design: Bordered black and white plaintext.
Usability: For extended Mörk Borg burnings. 

Compost

Concept: “This shady business has confused more than one necromancer.”
Content: A walking tree with a surprise inside.
Writing: A unique take on armor that reinforces an amusing concept.
Art/design: A dead tree creeps up behind boxed text.
Usability: Clean text boxes make for easy reference. 

Crypt Guard

Concept: “He fashioned himself an armour with the tombs of his loved ones... It was highly impractical but terribly efficient”
Content: “Heavy” Armor.
Writing: -1d6+2. What more do you want?
Art/design: A menacing tomb gate stands closed before our boxed text. 
Usability: It's also DR+4 to all Agility tests except defense. 

Dagger of Crimson Melodies

Concept: “The blade of this dagger is engraved with blank sheet music. As soon as the dagger tastes the blood...”
Content: Blood pumping musical dagger.
Writing: Steady mechanical escalation with a bloody surprise. 
Art/design: Background illustration of music. Yellow, white, and black.
Usability: Put on your favorite tracks.
