Bonfire Bound

Concept: “Night has fallen in this once great land. Where eternal fires illuminated the great reign of the Lords, now only ashes and glowing embers remain.” 
Content: A souls-like setting with “undead player characters, dodging, parrying, backstabbing, invading phantoms and the looming threat of going hollow.”
Writing: Rules that place emphasis on equipment attributes and a risk-reward reaction system to abstract strategic gameplay.
Art/design: A two-columned structure with dark and opulently recolored prints.
Usability: A functional but ongoing work in progress. Still in development. 

Börk Morgue #666

Concept: “An unofficial zine for a Dying World with words and design”
Content:
Random tables, optional rules for dice & powers & armor/weapons/combat, pointy teeth, monsters & NPCs … and a Börk Morgue & a Maus Borg
Writing:
Presented with a personable tone with plenty of wry wit
Art/design: Loaded with Mörk Borg aesthetic elements, color, and some creative layouts
Usability:
Adds some deeper complexity in some areas (especially complex) and some irreverent variety all around

Box of Shadows

Concept: “The dry cracked earth of the city now spews a scentless dark black fog. … Rumors of this substance taking form and hunting down those that travel without a lamp or torch have become ever more prevalent.”
Content:
A sprawling sandbox-style adventure set amidst a sinister miasma emerging in Grift
Writing:
Incorporates copious descriptions, in-game documents, and random tables to add flavor to play; also includes numerous monsters, NPCs, and items
Art/design:
Incorporates original and found art into exuberant designs and diverse layouts
Usability:
Includes copious reference sheets, handouts, and topic-specific indices for GMs and players to use during play; GM-eyes-only material is segregated to facilitate more exciting solo play

Crypt Guard

Concept: “He fashioned himself an armour with the tombs of his loved ones... It was highly impractical but terribly efficient”
Content: “Heavy” Armor.
Writing: -1d6+2. What more do you want?
Art/design: A menacing tomb gate stands closed before our boxed text. 
Usability: It's also DR+4 to all Agility tests except defense. 

Face of Wry Prophecy

Concept: “A mannequin masque locked in an airy smile.”
Content: A fatal game of masque roulette.
Writing: Compelling core mechanics make a tense social minigame.
Art/design: A menacing masque hovering over cursed text.
Usability: It’s all bonus HP until someone’s dead. 

For the Moon

Concept: “Worshipers of the celestial sphere... crafted this helmet as a gift for their prophet ‘Moönface’”
Content: A glowing spheric helmet with an attractive quality.
Writing: Amusingly understated and delightfully literal.
Art/design: An elegant moon prophet belies a ridiculous helmet. 
Usability: Don’t get caught in the wrong orbit. 

In the Footsteps of the Mad Wizard

“A campaign setting for Forbidden Psalm picking up the narrative where the core book leaves off.”

Scvmbirther Exclusive Content

Concept: “A Compiled PDF of all Scvmbirther exclusive content with rules for using it at the table!”
Content: Additional class abilities for Fanged Deserter and Wretched Royalty as well as optional results for weapons, armor, gear, Terrible Traits, Broken Bodies, and Bad Habits rolls; includes directions for incorporating content into character creation
Writing: On par with the core book’s quality
Art/design: Primarily typographical, but choices make for easy reading and use
Usability: A minimally intrusive way to add new content to character generation  

Suffering Extended

Concept: “Alternative rules and extended content”
Content:
Includes new options for starting equipment, companions, class-specific unarmed attacks, weapons, artifacts, armor, critical hit locations, bad habits, familiars, names, pack animals, minor items, and musical instruments
Writing:
Captures the core book’s grim humor and tone
Art/design:
Strong Mörk Borg aesthetic; sets itself apart with blue that harkens back to the core rulebook
Usability:
Well laid out; available in single page and spread versions for convenience

Tenacious Helmets

Concept: “A monster based on unfinished business, misplaced trust and faulty armour”
Content:
A trap/monster/item targeting unwary and acquisitive adventurers
Writing:
Includes background, behavior, effects, and a stat block (of course)
Art/design:
The illustrations will make you want one despite the adverse effects
Usability:
Multivalent but ergonomic in any capacity

The Anti-Paladin Toolkit

Concept: “Yes, you are a son of a bitch. But, you know in the end there is no one that can judge you.”
Content:
Essential items for the aspiring antipaladin
Writing:
Shot through with sardonic, angry humor
Art/design:
Grungy black on yellow (and vice versa) with some pink for spot color
Usability:
Some vertically oriented writing but not excessive

The Guild of Xargosi

Concept: “Their motto is ‘Corpora Infinita’ for the sheer number of fools ready to die under their banner."
Content: A parody of a guild that fights bears, whiffs hard, picks up the pieces, and dumps them in the endless sea.
Writing: Exaggerated Galgen-“talian” flair, with puns and body humor aplenty.
Art/design: A colorful, variegated, and grimy zine format. Classic poster illustrations of major encounters with altered public-domain spot illustrations.
Usability: Available in “guilded” and plaintext formats.  

The Lost Riddares of Daol Grenn

Concept: “Here lies what remains of these once mighty warriors.”
Content:
Profiles of four legendary heroes and the relics that can be found in their resting places
Writing:
Appropriate grimness tempered by occasional bouts of humor
Art/design:
Nonlinear layout leverages a variety of typefaces and abstract as well as representational designs
Usability:
Spatial organization, graphic choices, and visual cues help readers navigate a fairly dense page

The Üniførm

Concept: “When worn, the Üniførm allows the wearer to find shortcuts and tunnels in unexpected places.”
Content:
Medium “armor” that transports scvm to random rooms and minions-only locations within dungeons
Writing:
Easy to read with a streak of sardonic humor
Art/design:
Color coordinated for quick navigation and easy use
Usability:
Starch & press before wearing
