Concept: “Happy Shark Week”

Writing: A shrieking void of teeth and fins. With stats to match.

Concept: “In the halls of the dead where flayed men wander, the darkness snuffs out the light. It tears the flames from candle and log.”
Content: A dark temple crawl through a cult of shadows.
Writing: A gory supernatural survival horror. Makes use of light as a resource to maintain suspense.
Art/design: Traditional adventure layout. Gridded, un-gridded, and notated map. Handout images for significant adventure features.
Usability: Not actually a pain.

Concept: “It’s the end times, but that doesn’t mean you have to lie down and die! Get your head in the game.”
Content: A 2-4 player hybrid dice/card game of fanatical cult leadership and desperate political machinations.
Writing: A stylistic delivery of mechanics that encourages the kind of foul play that cult leadership entails.
Art/design: A fully distressed tri-fold pamphlet design with simple, and dramatic white text on a black background.
Usability: It will kill your printer, but it might just be worth it.

Writing: A sense of sanctity embodies its dungeon descriptions, contrasting the poverty and desperation of the Galgenbeck alley rumors which frame the adventure.
Art/design: Desiccated gray-scale memento mori highlight a structured top-down map and tidy two-column layout.

Art/design: I couldn’t spot the bookwörm in the backdrop.

Sacrifice Before Sunrise
Concept: “A plan to dethrone King Fathmu IX by replacing him with the grotesque child-god is mere days from success.”
Content: Political assassination by ritual god-child sacrifice.
Writing: A surprising amount of depth for a tiny, burned village and the chase for an infant god.
Art/design: Divine blend of color, artful illustration, and navigable sidebar column layout.
Usability: Easier to use than murdering a god-baby.

Sewer Salve
Concept: “The sewer guild has fled leaving these spaces to goblins and other chitter creatures, but they have left behind treasure and small stash of one of their key tools, Sewer Salve.”
Content: “a beard and skin care product that mixes the scents of patchouli, amber, and vetiver for a sweet earth aroma vaguely reminiscent of a urinal cake.”
Writing: I won’t spoil it, but there’s a pretty good pun on the lid.
Art/design: The most metal of yellow sewer grates.
Usability: A spreadable (edible?) urinal cake. I’ll get back to you once I get my hands on it.

Writing: A survey of iconic locals, with enough historical detail, rumor, and information to plan a failed treasure hunt.
Art/design: Yellowed artifacts splatter a clean single-column layout.
Usability: Available in plaintext and “night mode” with an off-white background to ease electronic reading.

Art/design: Outlined mobs, grainy photographs, alterations. Black, yellow, pink. Blackletter
Usability: Want fluff, hope you’re proficient in blackletter, work for it.

Art/design: Some uppity reagent overshadowed by his own legend.
Usability: Introduce it to your players. Let them decide how true it is.
