Greyson Yandt

Knives Out

Concept: “features way too many knives”
Content: Pointy things, capes, rules for being dandy with a variety of weapons, a seedy tavern, odd jobs, discretion, and time banditry.
Writing: An appropriate level of roguish charm, sharp wit, references, and puns.
Art/design: A vibrant and full-bodied visual design. Plenty of rouge on this rogue.
Usability: “If you are insufferable while doing it. You get DR –2 for the test. Yes. DR –2.”

Miserymobile

Concept: “Time for a new car that's completely compatible with MÖRK BORG. The... Miserymobile?”
Content: Conversation about a broke ass Mazda 6 cum rules.
Writing: Mechanics that live up to the name.
Art/design: Don’t waste your silver.
Usability: Contains exploding dice.

Multiplying Falli

Concept: “steföne bootyman! >>—<3—>”
Content: A wild falli, and it is multiplying.
Writing: Erectile Dysfunction
Art/design: Photograph. Colorful ink on dot paper, printed legal text, and two tone bat imagery over wedge marker on dot paper. Layered elements provide visual texture with shadows. Ink splatter hints at some sort of creative climax.
Usability: Almost a functional monster. Requires GM ruling on to google what a Fallus of Caecilia is.

Mörk Maus

Concept: “This zine, although it looks super Mörk Borg, is not compatible with that metal game.”
Content:
The Mörk Borg lore, atmosphere, and aesthetic adapted as a nuclear disaster setting for the Mausritter RPG
Writing:
Equal parts entertaining, endearing, and horrifying
Art/design:
Each contributor captures and conveys the look and feel of Mörk Borg but with appropriate, frequently humorous twists
Usability:
I don’t know Mausritter’s rules, but this makes it look pretty user-friendly

Of Grey Matters

Concept: “There’s this strange wriggling sensation inside your ears and head.”
Content:
A scenario with stats for NPCs and, of course, mechanics for brainworms; optional content includes additional items and a monster as well as stats for Mausritter
Writing:
Elevates sardonic cynicism to an artform
Art/design:
Linear layout punctuated by shocks of color
Usability:
Easy to digest with well-placed stat blocks

Proceeds go toward curing brainworms IRL

Plaguebriner Charm

Concept: “Ever wanted to make corpses explode into rats?”
Content: Now you can.
Writing: A pfvcked little rat birther charm, no context, full rules. Get used to it.
Art/design: Tortured sculpture become cursed charm on a field of yellow and black.
Usability: Occasionally backfires. Rat-splosively. Great gag for parties.

Psyber Devangelist and other Psi-Sci-Fi

Concept: “Electricity, metal, wires, chemistry, circuitry, flesh, blood, a cryptic power—all twisted together to form… you.”
Content:
A dystopian cyber-horror class with special gear and 6 accompanying cosmic creatures
Writing:
Combines sci-fi alienness with Mörk Borg grimness and humor
Art/design:
Adapts Mörk Borg’s aesthetic with a neon future
Usability:
A bit crowded in places, but overall nicely laid out with well-placed footnotes

Seven Palms for Seven Psalms

Concept: “A strange Misery-stopping friend”
Content:
An esoteric NPC with fun metagame mechanics and flair
Writing:
Well-crafted flavor text, stat block and abilities, and a pair of games
Art/design:
Absurdly appropriate graphics and smart division of text blocks
Usability:
Text-heavy but with few moving parts

Stone and Rock

Concept: “Searching for a lost treasure in a cave at the base of a mountain, wrong turns in a maze of tunnels only took you fumbling deeper into the earth.”
Content:
An abstract dungeon bursting with content
Writing: Copious instructions for travel, tables for encounters, stat blocks for denizens, and some unique loot
Art/design:
Background adds color and character, but mostly devoted to text
Usability:
Much enhanced by arrows connecting relevant sections of text

Séquelle

Concept: “You were hired by a village to hunt a witch who kidnapped over a dozen children. […] They are all singing and holding hands, dancing in a circle in front of a cave.”
Content:
A dark, plague-infested adventure with Pied Piper overtones
Writing:
Text-heavy but accessible thanks to the conversational tone; includes graphic images of suffering
Art/design:
Text overlaying a figurative and literal background image
Usability:
Challenges players with moral conundrums and dilemmas of trust and justice

The Occult Ossuary

28 contributors
Concept: “27 pieces exhumed from the depths of lavish graves, themed around skeletons, bones and skulls.”
Content:
“Classes, items, companions, monsters and encounters created by sacrilegious mind.”
Writing:
A variety of styles, all appropriate to their content
Art/design:
Worth downloading just to check out the range of art and layouts
Usability:
Complexity varies by entry but consistently easy to use

Unstable Bower

Concept: “Rules don’t apply to you—not the normal ones, at least.”
Content: A Scvm who brings cards to a dice fight.
Writing: Truly masterful mechanical phvckery that manages to feel strikingly unique in play and remarkably familiar in outcome.
Art/design: Satirized Mörk Borg Cult aesthetics hint at its corrupting influence on gameplay.
Usability: Pick a card, any card. Seriously... bring some phvcking cards.
