Garth Grimgar’s Guide to the Flora of the Dying World

Concept: “These are the field notes of the famously reclusive Occult Herbmaster Garth Grimgar, found in the ruins of his hut years after his death.”
Content: An Herbmaster’s guide to 16 flora and fauna and their medicinal use.
Writing: Decoctions and their mechanics cleverly disguised as field observations.
Art/design: Weathered, hand-inked visual style achieves a found document aesthetic
Usability: Consistent and legible. Do not try these recipes at home.

Graven-Tosk Gravöl

Concept: “Brewed by twice-dead druug monks in dank Grift chambers. Imbibed only at funerals or heretical sacrificial rituals.”
Content:
A Mörk Borg Smoked Stout as black as Nechrubel’s heart.
Writing: Gritty as Gravöl
Art/design: Dark, bold, graven, heretical.
Usability: Stjørdal and Gotlandsdricka malts, foraged juniper, all run through a traditional Kuurna. Available in Cognition's taproom in Ishpeming, MI. Worth a trip.

King of Broken Night

Concept: “Delve into the Halls of Droning Bone! Get lost in the Interstitial Tracts! Harvest the power of a localized solar phenomenon! Talk to a sentient slime mold! Wield the magic of effects pedals!
All these curiosities and more yet await in this crenelated and conjured cylinder.”
Content: A modular viscerolithic tower crawl of perpetual aspect.
Writing: Four luxuriously stylized tower floors with enough material to stand alone anywhere in the dying world, wrapped delicately in the glacial resolve of a wizard’s decadent solipsism.
Art/design: N/A The tower is reconstituting itself and remains plain text… for now.
Usability: Can be consumed in a single grand adventure, or cracked open to pick away at as you please.

Mesmerism

Concept: “People flock to his stall everyday and buy all his wares, and yet nothing seems to be happening... Why do they keep coming back then?”
Content: A different sort of alchemist, running a different sort of shop.
Writing: A engaging take on the snake-oil salesman. With an included hook to intrigue your scvm.
Art/design: A dingy street alchemist's lab draped in boxed text.
Usability: His wares could be worth quite a lot to the right buyers.

The Last Titan Burrowers

Concept: "The Great Dungeon’s construction brought the attention of the last Titan Burrower."
Content: Organism ‘come alchemist shop of titanic proportion.
Writing: An interactive blend of prose and mechanics makes for a lengthy but enjoyable read.
Art/design: Visceral and meaty, an artifact of the flesh-alchemy it depicts.
Usability: Available in digital and print format.

You Repugnant Hunters

Concept: “Players acquire hunting seals which allow them to hunt monstrosities too putrid for the average hero.”
Content:
Rules for monster-of-the-week play, unique scvm advancement, and tools of evisceration.
Writing: Disgustingly evocative prose, disturbingly flexible mechanics, and visceral handouts.
Art/design: Bloody two-tone style with art and layout that’s both slick and gritty.
Usability: Separate player rules handout to facilitate spoiler free reference. Hunting seal handouts provide quick visual cue of advanced character abilities and role in a hunting party.

"‘YOU REPUGNANT HUNTERS’ has rules and some sticky flavor for running a dark/metal fantasy campaign where players acquire hunting seals which allow them to hunt monstrosities too putrid for the average hero. Hunters undergo a ritual to get a Hunting Insignia which will determine their style of hunting and type of prey. Hunting down and ceremonially eviscerating unique prey will lead to appeasing a Hunting Insignia, and gaining occult powers and gross-yet-handy items."
