Writing: The Dark Lord’s invasion of darkly absurdist humor into an early fantasy setting.
Art/design: Playful collage of vintage prints emphasize their subjects, strong white-bordered text aid clarity and adds to the aesthetic.
Usability: Self-contained rules, navigable index and table of contents, reference material. Solidly utilitarian. 

Name Thy Murder Stick

Concept: “Your TTRPG character's butcherin' weapon deserves a murderous name... like RUSTY TOE CUTTER”
Content: A three part name generator for your murder sticks.
Writing: Adjective, body part about to come to serious harm, verb.
Art/design: It’s not just a sword.
Usability: Can be used to name existing murder sticks, or as an abstract generator for implements of death.

Omen Cards

Concept: “Printable omen counter cards for Mörk Borg.”
Content: Omen cards.
Writing: Compatible with Mörk Borg.  
Art/design: Third-eye horned-skull image screams omen—and clearly whitens its teeth. 
Usability: DIY cards are available in red, yellow, and grey. Also available as VTT tokens. 

Omens Rule Reference Card

Concept: “a reference sheet for the optional omen rules for Mork Borg”
Content: Business card formatted Omen rules.
Writing: An essentially pragmatic summary of Omen mechanics.
 Art/design: Effective hierarchy draws attention to frequently referenced text. The weathered background and small illustration enhance rather than distract in the stylized version.
Usability: Available in stylized and printer-friendly formats. Both with legible reference text.

Ossarium Vol. 1 + Reference Cards

PAINFLAIL Combat Helper

Concept: “Take most of the dice-rolling out of PAINFLAIL and PAINFLAIL QUEST combat rounds!” 
Content: A combat manager web app for 4 scvm and up to 5 enemies or companions.
Writing: Presents the actions of each enemy clearly and concisely along with their roll.
Art/design: Lightly textured yellow. It’s PAINFLAIL-core.
Usability: Available to run directly from the itch.io page. 

Path of Doom

Concept: “You awake in an unknown location and realize that you are in a body that is not yours.”
Content: An inspirational campaign generator from the plague years. Complete with locations, quests, lords, encounters, and magic items. Best of all, it’s all metal.
Writing: Full of flavorful narrative prompts to inspire improvisational play, with mechanics to structure them into a mountain hex-crawl. 
Art/design: Dark and gritty line art in a concert poster of a layout.
Usability: Compact and flexible design is suited for experienced groups comfortable with improvisation. Can be easily utilized with multiple fantasy OSR systems. 

PNG KULT

Concept: “Rotate, skew, transform them! Do whatever the fuck you want” 
Content: 68 modular png illustrations to combine into horrifying abominations.
Writing: It’s full of pictures, what do you expect?
Art/design: Nuanced line weight, consistent style, and careful borders make for an excellent compilation experience.

Concept: “Eschew company! Heed the omens! Beware the howling lamb!”
Content: A portent interpreting oracle for solo gaming. With a curse mechanism to introduce consequences.
Writing: Divinatory prompts and instructions that are open to interpretation.
Art/design: Strong visual aids assist with inspiration on triple-word oracle prompts. Text that feels cozy but not cramped.
Usability: Simple, sectioned, and easy-to-reference design. 

Rage Rain

Concept: “Crashing against skin and stone, its gentle violence blankets the earth.”
Content: A rainy day.
Writing: Flavor text that evokes a sense of tranquil violence. Mechanics that reveal the truth. 
Art/design: Visual elements and text combine to feel both ominous and tranquil.
Usability: Display font in flavor text may require some effort.

Ravings from Skarhuld: The Lost Brother's Bestiary

Concept: “Seeking to expand their pastureland, herders at Sarkash’s edge demolished an ancient, ruined wall. Amidst its foundation stones, they discovered a bundle of papers wrapped in oilskin. Those pages described, among others, the horrors inhabiting myth-spun Skarhuld.”
Content: Skarhuld, maddeningly sketched in prose and random tables. Alongside 20 surreal and miserable monsters to inhabit the dying world.
Writing: Absurdist nightmare horror given text. Amusing, disturbing, and gripping in equal measure. 
Art/design: Cohesive, yet textured. With a familiar structure to the surreal elements.

Sölitary Crawl

Content: A life path character generator for scvm like us.
Writing: Dramatic (and strange) scenarios provide texture for player improvisation at the table. 
Art/design: Colored lithographic print backgrounds provide a consistent visual style across the life path. Text boxes, visual guides, and color coded text allow for creative elements of the layout to remain easily navigable.
Usability: Clear visual indications for instructive text establish clear session 0 expectations. Requires the group to be present and engaged to be utilized fully.

Writing: Some great insight into how to run or design for rules light games, along with some truly Miserable examples.
Art/design: Dark, gritty, a little messy, and fun. 
Usability: You can identify the Swedish printing by (paper) weight. I’ll give you a hint, the title can be abbreviated TP. 

TIM, SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS!

Concept: “If your name is Tim and you bought the physical version of A$$HOLE$ & ELBOWS in the last couple of weeks, SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS!” 
Content: A itinerant gang of devoted reverse pickpockets, and a map of where to search for them.
Writing: The writer is channeling personal experience.
Art/design: It could call out Tim more than it does honestly. 
Usability: Two PDFs. Completely fails at its core purpose, finding Tim. 

What Wretch Approaches?

Concept: “From out of the gloom, (a wretch) approaches.”
Content: A customizable wretch (outcast) generator.
Writing: Concise. Adequately seasoned. Versatile.
Art/design: Solid, intuitive design. Consistent highlight of selectable elements.
Usability: Can be copied to clipboard to save favored wretches for later.

Concept: “What's in the Hole I Just Stuck My Hand In?”
Content: d20 table of holes you could have just stuck your hand in.
Writing: Gripping
Art/design: Pink text shoved into a background containing a surprising number of teeth.
Usability: Reach first, roll later. Great for improvisational playstyles and having fun with blindfolds.

Concept: “What's on the Table? & What's in the Cabinet?”
Content: A d20 list of things found near a very specific thing (x2)
Writing: On top of it, when not lost in it.
Art/design: Rotationally symmetric. Pink and yellow triangles clash over a spooky face. Engaging text elements. Some of the text elements may be upside down (depending on perspective).
Usability: Search first, roll for surprise later. Great for improvisational playstyles and making excuses for the skeletons in you cabinet. (Actually two lists. It helps if you can read upside down)
