Describes the location and behavior of its inhabitants
Art/design:
Includes a map and some illustrations to set proper expectations
Usability:
To be used in tandem with the other entries to the Miserable Dungeon Jam

Black Adder

Concept: “A submission to the Babalonian jam!”
Content:
Danger noodle (sometimes called a nope rope)
Writing:
Stat block and a mechanically straightforward but still twisted special ability
Art/design:
An object lesson in pictures being worth a thousand words
Usability:
Special damage adds more nuance to an already sturdy monster

Blood of SHE

Concept: “A mighty artefact is hidden in a chilly cavern: the nail that once wounded the mighty basilisk SHE.”
Content: A pamphlet dungeon made for the Crossword Dungeon Jam.
Writing: A dramatic legend of heroic magic turned to a dark purpose. With rules for your scvm to bring this blasphemous tale to an end, or open a new chapter.
Art/design: A pleasant compromise of style and function, a simple design with visual flourish around mechanical text to keep the eye engaged in multiple readings.
Usability: A well-structured pamphlet dungeon for easy reference at the table.

BOG

Concept: “Submission for Babalonian Jam!”
Content:
A handy horror
Writing:
A stat block with a pair of Specials
Art/design:
Integration of title with illustration is wonderfully creepy and fitting for the concept
Usability:
May give PCs the munchies (for hand meat)

Death Rope

Concept: “Submission for Babalonian Jam!”
Content:
A sneaky centipede that mimics rope and then kills you (hence the name)
Writing:
Stats and Special, straight and to the point
Art/design:
Skullipede front and center
Usability:
A good “gotcha!” hazard for malicious GMs

A monster that cuts your head off and then uses it as armor. Awesome.
Writing:
Stat block and special ability description deliver necessary information with diction and imagery that support the creature concept
Art/design:
Stylized title and unobtrusive text place due emphasis on the illustration
Usability:
Potentially lethal for any PC who relies on keeping their head attached

IKILLYA Katalog

Concept: “Made for the IKILLYA katalog jam”
Content:
A variety of furniture and smaller accessories with special abilities (except for that one chair that’s just a chair)
Writing:
Entries intentionally read like cloying advertisement copy
Art/design:
A range of layouts and design choices typically oriented on and around illustrations and other images
Usability:
“IKILLYA takes no responsibility for the untimely death of anyone(s) who is in possession of an IKILLYA product.” You’ve been warned.

Jinn

Concept: “A creature for the Babalonian jam!”
Content:
An anti-wish granting monster
Writing:
A modest stat block and a qualitative special ability
Art/design:
Shrouded, horned-monster-headed dude—not scary at all
Usability:
Not to be confused with gin, but both will leave you unhappy

Margoth

Concept: “Submission for Babalonian Jam!”
Content:
A corruption-based monster
Writing:
Quick, concise stat block
Art/design:
Illustration’s reticulations reinforce the Special’s effects
Usability:
May cause abrupt character death through damage or transformation

Misadvent Calendar

Concept: “Tearing away each door daily reveals a new foe, complete with lore and stats”
Content: Counting down to the end (of Christmas). With creatures.
Writing: Playful in the way a cat entertains itself with a mouse.
Art/design: A one-man game jam (so far).
Usability: Updating every day until Christmas 2022. 

Orc Borg

Concept: “a great big beautiful trash rocket smashing through space and it is jam-packed with ORCS”
Content: An entire hulking space orc ecosystem with a complete rule set.
Writing: Orcy text written for puny humies.
Art/design: Loud and fast. Large and bright. Dakka! Dakka! Dakka!
Usability: A4 format + Riso print enhances style and legibility.
